Summary: After the disastrous confrontation between Brimstone, Mr. Hostile & the NYPD, led by Detective Altar, New York City is in chaos! The long-thought-executed serial killer Mr. Hostile is on the loose, Brimstone has been captured by the NYPD and Detective Altar, once again, mysteriously survives almost certain death! Now all the pieces come together in this stunning climax to the conclusion of the story that marks the beginning of the Brimstone saga.
Review: Now sadly its been awhile since I've touched a comic from the Hound crew, and I probably deserve a good kick in the butt for that. But hopefully you guys and gals can forgive me! Now what we have here good folks is the final part of the storyline arc for Another Cold Day and in my view I think it was quite possibly the best part of the storyline. Especially since it seems Carnevali saved the more funny parts just for this issue alone. And if you've read this issue by now you know exactly what I'm talking about. But if you still haven't picked up on this title, what's up with you!? Issue 4 ends everything perfectly in a way that'll leave you satisfied but also curious on the one pulling the strings, which helps to set up the next part of the story. The creative team continues to do good work on this and I couldn't be happier over that.
And I have got to say that Mr. Hostile's mommy is one ugly woman! Wait... Can I even call that a woman? Because I can only imagine the mental issues that thing has. Issues I doubt even a therapist could deal with, that is if they are able to get past their fear of it. I couldn't blame any of them if they didn't though! I love how someone from a ghost hunting show winds up playing a part in this, especially after he and his team apparently encountered Lush and Dawg at a sight they were at. Which by the way Hound? Is a story I would love to read more of! Personally, I thought the douche bags that Altar has to deal with got their comeuppance after all was said and done. Nobody likes racists or gung ho idiots! Personally, I thought the best part in all this is how Mommy gets taken down by Lush. Just goes to show why you should never break a man's property as you never know what he might do! As I mentioned earlier, I really felt this wrapped up things perfectly while setting up more to be told. Which I look forward to reading all about!
